He Wants To Lead The Dance

When partners dance together they are in rhythm moving gracefully to the music as if they know the others step as there own. They glide together and the music within their ears beat the same and they create beauty and elegance. They flow until the position of who is leading changes. All of a sudden they are no longer in sync and their steps are offbeat and lack clarity of direction. 

As I sit here tonight, God has been showing me that our rhythm has been off and He showed me how. As I danced with Him in my living room, I felt a shift. I could feel Him and hear Him. As I danced without the desire to control my worship and move in perfection, He wrapped my heart and soul in His presence. My answers came and I could feel my rhythm coming back and my movement was shifting.

Have you ever felt God disrupting and unraveling your life? If you are not careful, you will see it as a bad thing? Have you ever believed all you've done in life and all that has happened to you has diminished God's ability to love you? I know that feeling. I know that pain. I know that lie.

YES IT IS A LIE

You see, God wants to dance with you. He wants to teach you to flow with Him. In the dance, He desires to lead so He can take you into an experience that only His love can unveil.  The problem is the pain within has shifted your feet. It shifted your heart. It shifted how you see yourself in Him and because of that, the music has changed.

I don't know about you, but I am in a season of transformation and disruption. They dance together. They are twins. You can't have one without the other. Before there is healing and transformation, there must first be DISRUPTION. Even in the disruption God is saying, "Dance with Me and allow Me to Lead." Then the thoughts of unworthiness fill your mind and heart. You hear the thunder of the pain and mistakes in your heart that takes you offbeat and out of flow with The Father. Yet, God hasn't changed His mind about you.  His grace and love, should you accept it. will bring right back into place.

Yet, you have a part in the dance as well.

As you seek God for healing, you must listen to Him. He wants to show you how much He loves you.  Yet, you must CHOOSE to BELIEVE IT.

SIMPLE RIGHT? Well, not so much.

I told you God is showing me I've been out of sync right? I have been moving as He spoke in life and business. I've been praying for healing in some areas and declaring breakthroughs in others. I created a place for Him to step into my dance and show me what was missing.  As I danced to the music I heard in my earphones, I chose to release and surrender.  I released the pain that told me I couldn't do what He said. I chose to deny my fear and draw closer to Him. I realized my prayers were being answered in the dance. The dance of allowing my Father to lead me and I yielded to His authority and wisdom for my life. In the flow, my prayers were being answered.

Are you still thinking you have to do or be something for God to still see you? Are you struggling to move forward because your pain is leading more than God? He hasn't changed His mind about you and you are not disqualified, by no means.

As your coach, I am not afraid or embarrassed to tell you my life is still unfolding. I'm not ashamed to say, sometimes I have to be reminded I am worthy. I delight in sharing it because I am human. Even more, in accepting my humanity, I can allow God's sovereignty to be exalted.

Where are you out of rhythm in your walk with God? Your daddy wants to dance with you again. He wants to take your hand and be your partner again. The obstacles in your past and present can only hinder you when you refuse to allow God to show you that you are still valuable and capable.

As you pray the music has begun. As you yield the movement between heaven and earth become one. Silence the pain, need for perfection and unworthiness by shifting your position and allowing God to lead you. Even You, yes, Even YOU...

HE STILL LOVES YOU

Trying to be perfect, won't fix it

Lying to yourself, won't fix it

Trying to heal on your own, won't fix it

It's time to change dance partners and allow God to cause a different flow in your life. Flow with Him. Dance with Him and allow Him to lead you in your heavenly dance.
